Top 3 Must Read Books for Real Estate Agents in 2018
Aug 11, 2017
One of the things that helped me early on in my real estate career was that I really tried to read as many books that were recommended to me, and that I had heard about from mentors or other people. Knowledge is always important, but it’s critical to small business owners and real estate agents. I feel so strongly about this topic that I’m going to make book suggestions often both on my blog and YouTube channel so that real estate agents within my circle or who follow me can constantly keep improving themselves through reading these titles.
Here are the three most important books that I think any agent should read at least once if they haven’t already. You can click on each title for more information and a link to purchase it:
Here are my first 3 recommended books for real estate agents
Millionaire Real Estate Agent — You’ve probably seen a real estate agent carrying this book at some point. It’s probably the #1 most popular reads in our industry. It’s really good for an early agent who is just starting to figure it all out and trying to build their business. (http://amzn.to/2dLAGf0)
Strength Finders 2.0 — I adore this book. It’s really less like a book and more like a test for you to find out what you’re really good at. This book helped me build a really strong real estate team because for a long time I was spinning my wheels, trying to do every task and not just the ones I was good at. Once I found my strengths, I was able to delegate the tasks that I’m weakest at to people who might be strong in those areas. It’s really helped to use my team to fill the holes where my weaknesses lay. In fact, I require every new member of my team to take the strength finders test. (http://amzn.to/2eltpV4)
Little Black Book of Connections — A mentor of mine told me about this at a time where I felt like I didn’t know anybody and wanted to expand my connections. He said to get this book and read it in its entirety. I’m so glad I did because it really helped with my networking. (http://amzn.to/2dHhi66)
I really hope you check out these three books, they are an asset to any business owner, but a must for any real estate entrepreneur. I can’t reiterate how strongly I feel about your education and that you continue learning and growing to become the best agent that you can be!
As always, please keep the conversation going and the lines of communication open with me. I’d love to hear your comments and questions!
